Abstract
The present article seeks to
weave an interartistic reflection on plasticity in the work “Seu Sami”, by the
capixaba artist Hilal Sami Hilal, exhibited at the Vale Museum in 2007. For
this purpose, the comparative image becomes evident as a basis of research,
highlighting various points of view with relation to gestural, rhythmic and
calligraphic aspects present in the artist's work. Entering the discussion of
the abandonment of traditional support and the use and appropriation of other
support as a basis for creation and maturation in the creative process,
approaching the concepts of Time, Matter and Memory from the philosophers of
Henri Bergson and Didi-Huberman.
