ABSTRACT
This article aims to clearly and objectively
demonstrate the importance of taking advantage of technological advances as
resources to improve the methodological service to the target audience student,
of the Specialized Educational Service (AEE) of state public schools,
especially the student with Intellectual Disabilities (ID ) light. For this, it
was thought to use the Blog to improve reading strategies such as selection,
anticipation, inference, verification and production of texts among others. For
this, a bibliographic research was carried out to seek the theoretical
foundation on the use of the Blog as an active methodology to encourage the
practice of reading and the production of texts of different textual,
narrative, descriptive, instructive and argumentative genres through intense
practice . of silent reading, problem situations, beginning, middle or end
elaborations for the story, text puzzles, illustrations, role-plays, practical
classes, video recording, presentations in parties, among others. Considering
that reading strategies are techniques or methods that readers use to acquire
information, or procedures or activities chosen to facilitate the process of
reading comprehension. The assessment can be done through observation and
practical analysis of reading and writing, by students with mild ID, their
attitudes and behaviors towards reading practice, analysis of textual
productions according to the genres worked and grammar and records through photographs
and videos.
